Understanding Veteran Readiness & Employment (VR&E) Benefits
What Are VR&E Benefits?
Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E), also known as Chapter 31, is a program provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to assist veterans with service-connected disabilities in preparing for, finding, and maintaining suitable employment. For those who cannot immediately enter the workforce due to the severity of their disabilities, VR&E also offers services to help veterans achieve greater independence in their daily lives.
